Do I need an account to cam chat?

Do I need to download an app?
No. JerkmateChat runs entirely in a modern browser — Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox — on phones, tablets and desktops alike. If a "match" ever sends you a link claiming you must install something, that's a scam pattern; the safety page lists the others.
Matching & the Next Button
How do I skip a match?
Tap Next. That's the whole answer — the current chat ends, a new match starts, and you can do it as often as you like. Skipping is normal use, not rudeness; everyone here expects it. It's the feature that makes a random cam to cam chat feel effortless.
Why is matching taking a while?
Matching pairs you with whoever is online and available at that moment, so waits vary with the time of day and your connection. If a match fails because the network dropped, pressing start again puts you straight back in the queue.

My cam chat is not working
When a cam chat is not working, the cause is almost always a browser permission rather than broken hardware:
- Click the lock or settings icon beside the address bar.
- Set Camera (and Microphone) to Allow.
- Reload the page and start again.
Still dark? Check that no other app — a meeting tool, another browser tab — is holding the camera, and make sure you're not muted inside the chat. Choppy video usually means the network: move closer to the router or pause big downloads.

How do daily free matches work?
JerkmateChat is free to start: new users get a batch of free matches every day — the "Free ×10" badge on the start button. Used them up? They refresh tomorrow, or you can keep chatting with coins. The free cam chat page goes deeper on what free covers.
What are coins?
Coins are the pay-as-you-go balance for going beyond the daily allowance — to be plain about it, longer or premium sessions can use coins. The product always shows the cost of a coin action before you confirm, so there are no surprise charges.

How do I report a user?
Inside the chat, tap report, choose the closest reason, and block the person in the same flow if you want no further contact. The prompt comes from your browser, not from us — it is a security feature, and video chat simply cannot work without it. You can deny it and reverse the decision anytime in the site settings.
